Leaving Donegal

Explored the town yesterday. Had a wonderful visit with our cousins and their kids. Walked 3 miles to their house in the country. Very simple and charming lifestyle. My cousin Bernie cooked a traditional Irish dinner for us. Lamb, turnips, carrots, parsnips, and potato. Heard lots of stories about our family. Sounds like a few of them were quite the characters. It is such a beautiful sunny day here. We will be taking a 2 hour bus ride shortly to the West Knock airport and catch a plane to Birmingham to meet Mike and Martine and gang. We will be staying for two nights. So happy to have my suitcase. Seems it has traveled more than I have. Scott is now in Dublin with Faye.

Hi Judy,

Mom's with me reading your blog. She wants to know if you saw your mother's house in Galway.

Glad you got your suitcase back! We could smell your feet all the way in San Francisco.

We'll keep logging in to read about your adventures -- we are enjoying hearing about them.

Have fun w/ the Sullivans and tell them hello from all of us.

What a great family trip/visit you are having - it sounds wonderful -- and especially nice now that you ALL have your personal belongings! (I was going to say what you said about Judy's feet, Sheila ... so I'm glad you said it first!!) :)
Stay well everyone!
