A hurricane has started their trip off on the wrong foot. After arriving at the airport very early on Saturday morning, they found out the flight was delayed to NY due to hurricane issues. Of course this meant that they were going to miss the connecting flight to Galway. After much hurrying around and waiting, the travelers got a flight our of SF at 2:30 going to Dublin. They'd then have to get a connecting flight to Galway from there.
This, however, was not the end of their troubles. It turns out that their bags are traveling to NY without them. To make matters worse, Judy's bagged were mis-checked in under the name of Walter Gideon.........whoever he is. The airlines said it may be a couple of days before they get their bags. They are in Ireland now........somewhere.
